the study of microorganisms very small things.
Something left over from Summer… when the Blue Wren & his little babes were darting about, cooling down under the Mandarin tree.
So, I carry on about liking nature and art a lot… But I also really REALLY love science! In fact, this year will be the last year of my BaSc! Surprised? I am! My mind is being blown all the time… God is SUPERclever!
So in honour of Lucy-appreciating-her-science-degree-for-five-rare-minutes… Here is a photo I took last year for histology.. It’s a section from a mouse. On the left is skeletal muscle and connective tissue, and the pipe in the middle is a blood vessel containing tiny little red blood cells (look at them!!!) and all that pink on the right is the myocardium of his lovely mousy heart…..
{Here endeth my tissue identification lesson!}
